Technical features of the Motorguide R3-55

The black motors are for freshwater (FW) use only. If you want to use the motor in saltwater, look at the white saltwater (SW) models.

Equipped with a 3-blade propeller (machete). Use also possible with herbage and plants.

For every 100 kg of boat weight, we recommend 10 lbs of thrust. So you can easily calculate the required power.

We always recommend the stepless variant for low consumption. With the same battery, you drive thus significantly further!
