Batteries for VETUS E-Line drives
For VETUS boat engines, we recommend lightweight, safe, and durable lithium batteries (LiFePo4). AGM batteries are also possible, but they make the system significantly heavier, more complex to install, and less durable.
The 5 kW motor draws up to 155 A at full load. This should definitely be taken into account when selecting the battery. The batteries from Battery Technology have by far the best price-performance ratio on the market. We recommend a battery with 200 Ah. Depending on the desired driving time, we will be happy to put together a suitable complete system for you.
Accessories for the VETUS E-Line 5 kW 24 V
The VETUS propulsion system can be composed of any number of components from VETUS. Propulsion and control are essential for functionality. Depending on the battery and monitoring, a VETUS display can also be used. The power supply can also be integrated via a generator or solar panels.
VETUS has patented several protective functions for its engines. This includes the motor controller, which monitors the state of charge of the batteries. All important information can then be displayed on the monitoring panel. There is also an LED display and even acoustic signals.
