Scope of delivery of the PowerDrive 70 BT iPilot
Scope of delivery: E-motor, power propeller, i-Pilot remote control, manual. A foot pedal is not included, but can be easily retrofitted.
The PowerDrive 70 comes with a high-quality i-Pilot radio remote control, which is connected to the PowerDrive. This includes top features such as Spot-Lock GPS Anchor, AutoPilot and precise control via smartphone (Minn Kota App).
Not included is the heading sensor. This can be retrofitted, however, so that your GPS anchor is even more precise.

Correct shaft length for bow motors
137 cm shaft length is suitable for normal height sideboards. Measure the distance from the top of the bow to the waterline and add 50 cm. If the distance is 80 cm (+50 cm), you are in the perfect range.
Batteries for the PowerDrive 70 BT iPilot
We recommend mainly the lithium batteries from Ultimatron or Forster Batteries. Either the 12 V 100 Ah version of Ultimatron with Bluetooth and app or the Ecowatt model with display. The lightweight Rebelcell battery cases are also ideal.
Basically, AGM batteries are of course also compatible with the PowerDrive 70 BT iPilot. AGM batteries are significantly heavier and not so easy to handle. For this, however, the battery status can be displayed directly on the bow motor. With lithium batteries this does not work because of the voltage.

Depending on your requirements and budget, you will find Minn Kota either a good model for beginners, or a premium model with integrated autopilot, sonar, as well as GPS and Bluetooth. The basic quality features are completely covered by the bank.
