Scope of delivery of the Terrova 80 BT iPilot
Scope of delivery: E-motor, Weedless Wedge Propeller, i-Pilot remote control (waterproof), Headingsensor for GPS anchor, German manual. A foot pedal is not included, nor is a sonar transducer. The Terrova 80 BT has all the important functions of the bow motor. This model is particularly well suited for beginners, for advanced users, the variants with more features may be better suited.
The remote control is the simple black and white display and not the LCD color touch display of the iPilot Link. Also, only 6 routes can be stored on the version without the "link". The 80 lbs bow motor nevertheless includes all the top features such as Spot-Lock GPS anchor, AutoPilot and accurate control via smartphone (Minn Kota App).

Terrova 80 iPilot - technical features

For the motors, carbon brushes need to be replaced from time to time. However, experience has shown that this only happens very rarely.

Correct shaft length for bow motors
152 cm shaft length is suitable for normal height sideboards. Measure the distance from the upper edge of the bow to the waterline and add 50 cm. If the distance is 95 cm (+50 cm), you are in the perfect range. For higher distances there are also still shaft lengths with 183 cm or more.
.Batteries for the Terrova 80 BT iPilot
We recommend mainly the lithium batteries from Ultimatron or Forster Batteries. The best price has the 24 V 100 Ah version of Ultimatron with Bluetooth and App . From Forster Batteries we usually take the 24 V 50 Ah model with Bluetooth + App. Also the lightweight 24V Rebelcell battery cases are ideal.
Basically, of course, AGM batteries are also compatible with the Terrova 80 BT iPilot. AGM batteries are significantly heavier and not so easy to handle. For this, however, the battery status can be displayed directly on the nose motor. With lithium batteries this does not work because of the voltage.
