News about the LiFePo4 E-batteries
The demand for batteries for electric boats is increasing. The company ePropulsion is one of the first to now adjust its prices downwards in favor of customers. To meet the demand for greater battery capacity among commercial and private customers, ePropulsion launched the new E-series with LiFePo4 batteries in early 2020.
The NEW E-series batteries are definitely an economical alternative to the Navy battery, both for commercial users and for boat owners who value a longer range.
Capacity and depth of discharge of the E40 battery from ePropulsion
The ePropulsion E40 battery for electric motors has a capacity of 2048 Wh. There are larger models with 3072 Wh, 4096 Wh, 8345 Wh or 8960 Wh. Due to lower unit costs, the batteries are cheaper and can maintain a capacity of 80% after 3,000 cycles at 80% DoD (depth of discharge).
DoD (depth of discharge) is the depth of discharge of the batteries in German.

ePropulsion is an innovative manufacturer of electric drives with the aim of further advancing e-mobility in water sports. The idea was conceived in 2012 by four young engineers in Hong Kong.
