The demand for batteries for electric boats is increasing. The company ePropulsion is one of the first to now adjust its prices downwards in favor of customers. To meet the demand for greater battery capacity among commercial and private customers, ePropulsion launched the new E-series with LiFePO4 batteries in early 2020.

The NEW E-series batteries are definitely an economical alternative to the Navy battery, both for commercial users and for boat owners who value a longer range.

E175 capacity and depth of discharge

The ePropulsion E-battery for electric motors has a capacity of 2048 Wh, 3072 Wh, 4096 Wh, 8345 Wh or 8960 Wh. The batteries are cheaper due to lower unit costs and can maintain a capacity of 80% after 3,000 cycles at 80% DoD. DoD (depth of discharge) refers to the depth of discharge of the batteries in German.

ePropulsion is an innovative manufacturer of e-drives with the goal of further advancing e-mobility in water sports. The idea came from four young engineers in Hong Kong in 2012.
