Technical features of the Motorguide Xi3-55 FW GPS

The short shaft length of the motor is suitable for small kayaks or inflatable boats with a very low transom.
6 different trim positions for optimal propulsion or to raise the motor in shallow water.

Equipped with a 2-blade propeller. With a lot of plant growth, we recommend rather a motor with 3-blade propeller.

Recommended is 30cm depth of immersion in the water, so that the propeller does not draw air.
The motors are only suitable for use in freshwater (FW). If you want to use the motor in saltwater, please have a look at the SW models.
For every 100 kg of boat weight, we recommend 10 lbs of thrust. So you can easily calculate the required power.
