FMT Momentum 90 - Technical features

High-efficiency thanks to a hubless, permanent magnet excites electric motor.
Recuperation during, sailing or standstill in water possible. The batteries recharge during fast sailing.
The drives can be operated in a wide voltage range.
Virtually maintenance-free, as neither seals nor lubricants are used.
The motors can even be used in great water depths because the rotor and stator are cast in a vacuum and are pressure-neutral.
Individual programming of all parameters via software possible.

Information about the e-drive from FMT Kempen

The special feature of boat drives is that they do not have a standard propeller shaft. The propeller blades are guided on the outside of the rotor, the design corresponds to a ring. This has the advantage that nothing can get caught in a shaft and in case of damage, the propeller blades can be replaced individually.
