The Cruise 6.0 is, in contrast to the Travel 1103 not completely silent. The transmission produces a slight whistling sound. The engine is nevertheless significantly quieter than combustion engines.
The gliding characteristics and the maximum speed are better thanks to the small motor housing. Ideal for planing boats.

Range from Cruise 6 outboard

Travel time and range depend on the boat and battery. In an example with the Cruise 6.0 and the Power 48-5000 battery, we have the following readings for sailing boats up to 3 tons:

If you plan longer and more comfortable tours on the water, you will even get a lot further with less power. At 1/4 of the power, a speed of 5 km/h (2.7 knots) was reached for 8 hours. All in all a range of 50 km (27 nautical miles). And that with only one battery charge.

Cruise 6.0 R - Information on range

For operation, a supply of at least one lithium battery (Power 48/5000) or lead batteries (lead gel or AGM) must be provided. The Power 48/5000 has 44.4 V, 5000 Wh and a weight of 37 kg. Others can also be connected in parallel.

Alternatively, at least two lithium batteries from the Power 24-3500 series can be combined with the Cruise 6.0.

In displacement mode, the required power increases exponentially. If you want to double your speed, you need eight times the power. At the same time, you can increase the range enormously during your excursion if you reduce the speed a little.

The matching charger Power 48-5000 has a charging current of 13 A and is waterproof according to IP 65. The charger charges the Power 48-5000 from 0 to 100% in max. 10 hours. In addition, up to three chargers can be connected simultaneously.

Accessories from Torqeedo for your electric motor

The free map app in combination with the Bluetooth adapter TorqTrac offers optimal handling on the water.
There is also the possibility of control with a tiller directly on the motor. Remote throttle lever, which communicates with the engine via Bluetooth.
