• Boat drives from Haswing are fundamentally suitable for use in salt water. After use, the motors should then be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water.

• When the magnetic chip at the end of the safety line is removed, a sensor activates the stop of the motor. This stops the motor when going overboard for safety. The magnetic switch is mounted on the tiller or on the remote control.

• The LED display of the motor shows the current battery voltage.

• A convenient LED battery indicator with 3 lights always shows you the state of the battery while driving. However, the indicator does not work well with lithium batteries. We recommend a separate shunt measurement.

• The engine is a lightweight with only 27.7 kg in contrast to some market companions or conventional gasoline engines.

• The Armada 8.0 is available with tiller or remote throttle. The 180° tiltable tiller also serves as a throttle.

Technology of the Haswing Armada 8.0

• Includes 3-blade propeller made of plastic. Modern design in bright red.

• The integrated anti-cavitation plate above the propeller avoids air being sucked in by the propeller. The engine does not have to dive as deep and still provides optimal propulsion.

• Infinitely variable adjustment of the propeller's immersion depth in the water. Can be used individually for any height.
• Integrated water cooling with impeller for motor and control electronics. The water jet exits the cooling system on the underside of the motor head.

• Newly designed motor housing with the integrated fin is again more flow-optimized.

• The electric motor can lock in different positions or tilt out of the water by pulling the lever.

• A 30 cm cable with SB175 high current battery connector is installed on the Armada 8.0. The included 130 cm extension cable to the battery also has an adequate connector and a robust main switch to disconnect the engine from the power supply.
