ePropulsion X20 with 20 kW power, suitable for light gliders up to 1,000 kg or heavy displacement boats up to 10,000 kg. The electric propulsion with remote control and short or long shaft from ePropulsion is comparable to a 30 PS gasoline outboard motor.
The new model of the X series also has a direct drive and is damn quiet. In addition, the motors have a whole range of improvements and features such as GPS or electric steering.

Integrated GPS provides real-time accurate information on speed and battery range on an LCD display and optionally in the app.

Battery alarm: An acoustic warning signal informs you about a low battery status.

Emergency stop magnet chip - the electric motor stops as soon as the chip is removed from the remote control.

An integrated protection mechanism stops the motor or reduces speed if the ePropulsion X20 encounters resistance under water.

The ePropulsion G-Series batteries are ideal for all ePropulsion X-outboard and I-inboard motors. Third-party batteries should not be used.

The ePropulsion X20 is equipped with a closed liquid cooling system. No water absorption is required in the process and the cooling works excellently even under harsh conditions.

The engine is almost maintenance-free. Only the anodes and lubrication points need to be checked annually.

Range of the ePropulsion X20 outboard
Travel time and range depend on the battery. In an example with a 6m aluminum boat (total weight 1,000 kg) and a 40 kWh battery, we have the following measurements:
→ At 20 kW (full load), the ePropulsion X20 runs for one hour at a speed of 26 km/h and achieves a range of 26 km.
→ At 10 kW (1/2 power), the fun lasts for a 2-hour trip on the water at a cruising speed of 14 km/h and a range of 28 km.
→ At 5 kW power, the battery lasts for 4 hours of driving at 11 km/h. In total, up to 44 km are possible with one battery charge. Those who plan longer and more leisurely tours on the water can go much further with less power.
Contents of the ePropulsion X20 package
• We recommend using our configurator (put together a package) for a detailed overview.
• The price is for the motor only. You will also need batteries (at least 4x G102-100), charger, controller, display, and propeller.
There is also optional accessories (various cables, DC-DC converter, GPS & antenna) that are a good addition depending on the boat.

Information about the battery of the ePropulsion X20
The G102-100 battery is fully compatible with your 96V ePropulsion X20 outboard motor. The batteries are safe and reliable, and more efficient due to the higher voltage. The LiFePO4 batteries have a high energy density and extremely long lifespan.
The integrated ePropulsion Connectivity Service keeps you up to date on the status of your boat in real time and provides advanced monitoring, reporting, and trip tracking features.
The manufacturer ePropulsion
ePropulsion is an innovative manufacturer of electric drives with the aim of further advancing e-mobility in water sports. The idea was conceived in 2012 by four young engineers in Hong Kong.
With the goal of making environmentally friendly, clean and quiet motors competitive, they have since designed numerous models.
