Technical details of the E-motor

Unmatched overall efficiency according to the manufacturer.
The motor is trimmable and can be raised. Furthermore, the motor automatically disengages when touching the ground. In addition, the motor can be bolted for theft protection.
Aquamot offers many protective functions. Electronic protection against overcurrent, runaway protection, deep discharge, overvoltage, undervoltage and reverse polarity protection. Mechanical predetermined breaking point in case of grounding.
Low immersion depth possible thanks to an optional anti-cavitation plate.
The propeller of the Trend series is included in the price.
100% maintenance free. All Aquamot motors are brushless three-phase asynchronous motors.
A tiller extension is optionally available from the accessories.
Flow-optimised drive housing with minimum resistance and optimum flow conditions at the motor and propeller.

Range of the electric boat motors

Travel time and range depend on the boat and the battery. In an example with the Trend 4.3 with 4 Aquamot ALS batteries 12 V and 260 Ah, we have the following readings:

Under full load, the electric motor lasts approximately 2.25 hours.
At half load, the driving time with the same package already increases to 5.5 hours.
If you are planning longer and more leisurely tours on the water, you can even get significantly further with less power. At partial load, this combination achieves around 10 hours of cruising time. And that with only one battery charge.
