Info about the I-40 inboard from ePropulsion

Housing and plug connection are waterproof according to IP 67.
Circa 60% space saving on the engine. The battery takes up comparable space to the previously installed tank.
The ePropulsion G102-100 battery is ideal for the I-40 kW motor. At least 4 batteries are required. Third-party batteries can not be used.
Emergency stop magnetic chip - the electric motor stops as soon as the chip is removed
Integrated GPS provides real-time, accurate information about the speed and range of the battery on an LCD.
Battery alarm: An audible warning signal informs you of low battery status.

Technical features of the ePropulsion I-40

The motor is almost maintenance-free. Only the anodes and lubrication points need to be checked annually.
The I-40 kW is one of the few inboards produced in a high volume production line. Thanks to the origin from Asia, the prices can be seen in comparison with the competition.

Very modern and sporty design with blue color accents. The model was awarded the IF Design Award in 2015.

Range from ePropulsion I-40

Driving time and range depend of course on the battery. With an 80 kWh battery, one reaches the following driving range:

Under full load, the ePropulsion I-40 holds a good two hours.
At 1/2 power, the driving pleasure holds for a 4-hour trip with a decent marching speed
Who plans longer tours on the water, comes with less power still significantly further. At 1/4, 80 kWh is easily enough for 8 hours of travel.

The battery should be determined depending on the weight of the boat and the planned range.

Info about the control of the I-40

The smart throttle from ePropulsion comes with a 5" display for the best possible overview of all driving values. The display is thus significantly larger than in the smaller outboards. Visually, the color display makes a lot in any case.

For release, there will be a top and side throttle. In each case in single or dual version. So a twin system is possible for each of the inboards. Other controls have already been announced.
