Scope of delivery of the Terrova 55 BT iPilot
Scope of delivery: E-motor, Weedless Wedge Propeller, i-Pilot remote control (waterproof), Headingsensor for GPS anchor, German manual. A foot pedal is not included, nor is a sonar transducer. The Terrova 55 BT has all the important functions of the bow motor. This model is particularly well suited for beginners, for advanced users, the variants with more features may be better suited.
The remote control is the simple black and white display and not the LCD color touch display of the iPilot Link. Also, only 6 routes can be stored on the version without the "link". The 55 lbs bow motor nevertheless includes all the top features such as Spot-Lock GPS anchor, AutoPilot and accurate control via smartphone (Minn Kota App).

Correct shaft length for bow motors
137 cm shaft length is suitable for normal height sideboards. Measure the distance from the top of the bow to the waterline and add 50 cm. If the distance is 80 cm (+50 cm), you are in the perfect range.
Batteries for the Terrova 55 BT iPilot
We recommend mainly the lithium batteries from Ultimatron or Forster Batteries. Either the 12 V 100 Ah version of Ultimatron with Bluetooth and app or the Ecowatt model with display. From Forster Batteries we usually take the 12 V 50 Ah model with Bluetooth + App. The lightweight Rebelcell battery cases are also ideal.
Basically, AGM batteries are of course also compatible with the Terrova 55 BT iPilot. AGM batteries are significantly heavier and not so easy to handle. For this, however, the battery status can be displayed directly on the bow motor. With lithium batteries this does not work because of the voltage.
