Range information

Travel time and range depend on the battery. In an example with the Travel 1003 and the 530 Wh battery, we have the following readings:

Under full load, the electric motor lasts approximately 35 minutes. The speed in the case is around 9.2 km/h (5 knots). Within the short time, a range of 5.4 kilometres could thus be covered. (3.2 nautical miles).
At half power, the driving pleasure lasts approximately for a 3.5-hour excursion on the water with marching speed of 5.5 km/h (3 knots) and a range of 19.4 km.
If you're planning longer and more leisurely trips on the water, you'll actually get much further with less power. At 1/4 power, a speed of 3.7 km/h (2 knots) was achieved for 10.5 hours. So a total range of 39 km (21 nautical miles). And that with only one battery charge.

The charger for the Travel interchangeable battery

The enclosed charger has a power of 90 watts and is suitable for sockets between 100 V - 240 V and 50 Hz - 60 Hz. For the entire charge of the lithium battery of the Travel model, the charger needs about 5 hours.

In displacement travel, the power required increases exponentially. If you want to double your speed, you need eight times the power. At the same time you can increase the range on your trip enormously if you reduce the speed a little.

Torqeedo is German manufacturer and market leader in the field of electric boat drives. The idea for Torqeedo was born at Lake Starnberg due to bans on combustion engines. Boat engines with electric drives, on the other hand, can be driven carefree.
