Range of the Mercury Avator 7.5e
The battery of the Mercury Avator 7.5e lasts for about 4 hours of normal use. Depending on the driving style, it can vary by 1-2 hours. It mainly depends on the weight of the boat and the speed you want to drive at. Here are a few examples from real life with an inflatable boat:
- At full throttle, the Mercury Avator 7.5e lasts for one hour and reaches a maximum speed of 10 km/h. The range was 10 km.
- At 1/2 power, the fun lasts for a trip of 2 hours on the water with a cruising speed of 8.5 km/h and a range of 17 km.
- Those who love more leisurely tours on the water can go much further with less power. At 1/4 power, the battery lasts for about 4 hours and the motor reaches about 7 km/h. In total, this is a range of 28 km with just one battery charge.
For those planning longer tours on the water, the battery can be quickly replaced in a few simple steps and an additional battery can be ordered.
Mercury Avator 7.5 Charger & Charging Time
The Mercury Avator charger has an integrated voltage and current monitoring - ensuring safe and effective charging. The Avator 7.5e outboard motor comes with a 110W charger that can be conveniently stored in a carrying case. The 1,000 watt battery is fully charged in 9 hours (assuming the battery was empty).
If you need faster charging times, you can also switch to a faster charger. All you need to charge is a normal household power outlet. The charger has colored LED lights for the current status (error messages).
