Matching battery to the ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Classic and Pod 1.0 Classic. The lithium-ion battery has been overhauled from the ground up and now has 1,276 Wh instead of 1018 Wh capacity.

Effectively, it is the battery from the new Spirit 1.0 PLUS, which is reprogrammed specifically for the Classic engines on request. The scope of delivery also includes a new charger. The old Spirit Classic charger can not be used.

Fire resistant thanks to a special honeycomb structure and a safety distance between the cells.
In the 48 V lithium battery, the topic of safety has top priority. The Battery Management System (BMS) and the original 18650 cells from Panasonic guarantee high reliability.

Technical features of the ePropulsion lithium-ion battery

Very modern and simple design, hardly noticeable.
The higher energy density of the lithium-ion battery is noticeable in comparison to conventional lead-acid batteries, and the number of charging cycles is also much higher.
The task of the BMS is to control and monitor the Navy battery. The BMS protects the battery against overcurrent, overtemperature, overcharge, overvoltage or short circuit.

Capacity and depth of discharge

Thanks to the variable battery, you can easily take a spare battery on board. The 1.276 kW lithium-ion battery can be fully recharged within 6 hours.

Alternatively, charging via a 12 V on-board power supply or with solar cells is also possible. The lithium-ion battery can thus be quickly made roadworthy again.
