Application of Victron Energy Telecom batteries 115 Ah

Telecom AGM batteries were originally designed for telecommunications applications.
The AGM batteries tolerate high charge and discharge rates. The reason for this is a low internal resistance.
Deep discharge up to 80% possible. This means that even 500 cycles are possible. At 50% DoD even 750 cycles.
Very durable. 12 years lifetime with proper use and a temperature of 20 °C.

The batteries can be stored for a long period of time without being charged in between.
Low self-discharge rate at less than 2% per month and 20°C. The higher the temperature, the higher the discharge.
Side access allows for storage in racks or tight spaces on the boat.
Particularly slim shape ensures easy handling and storage.

Safety of Victron Energy's VLRA technology

Frequent and long-term deep discharges cause irreversible damage to AGM batteries.
VLRA = Valve Regulated Lead Acid. The batteries release any gas produced in the event of overcharging or cell failure via a valve.
