⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price-performance ratio is right!

The ePropulsion Pod 6.0 EVO is currently simply the pod motor with the most coherent price-performance ratio for motor and batteries. The installation and commissioning was easy, the motor is quiet and provides sufficient thrust.

We have had bad experiences with other manufacturers and have therefore switched. Ideally, a more stylish and functional display would be perfect for our boat. We have integrated a multifunctional touch display using a shunt and made the pod rotatable.

Travel time and range depend mainly on the boat (weight and length) and the battery. In combination with an E175 battery with a total of ~9 kWh, we achieved the following speeds and ranges in the test with a 30-foot sailboat:

• Under full load with the ePorpulsion Pod 6.0 EVO, the batteries last about 1.5 hours in operation. In the test at 12.9 km/h, a range of 19.2 km can be achieved.

• At half load of 3 kW, we were able to drive for a total of 3 hours. Speed of 10.5 km/h and a range of about 31 km.

• Those who plan longer and more comfortable tours on the water can go much further with less power. At partial load (1,000 W), one battery charge lasts around 9 hours. With the E175, a range of ~70 km is realistic.

Thanks to the uniform voltage of 48V, you can easily bring your desired battery on board. This allows batteries to be connected in parallel and combined. Please note our instructions regarding the batteries used and sufficient storage space.
